Course Description

This APTA IN webinar will discuss finances and management of student loan debt as a student (and new professional).

 

Course Objectives

Define terms related to financial wellness and money management for the student and new professional.

After this webinar, the participant will be able to:

  1. Explore internal and external factors that influence financial decision-making.
  2. Compare and contrast the different loan options for students.
  3. Identify alternatives to student loans and ways to avoid unnecessary student loans.
  4. Discuss strategies that may be useful when managing student loan debt.
  5. Identify tools and resources available for students to manage student loan debt and make sound financial decisions.
  6. Discuss salary negotiation.
